Rob is currently employed as a manager in the information technology division of a large technology company.
Rob has long years of experience with the Japanese language and the Japanese martial arts, and he brings these concepts and basic management principles he has learned along the way to produce articles which reach out to others who struggle at work.

Rob is the author of the popular book Year of the Chicken, a true story of his travels to Japan and his two-year life in Nagoya.
The Struggling Manager was created to help you get what you want out of work.
Rob is the author of Year of the Chicken:
The story of a two-year stay in Nagoya, Japan and the adventure involved in getting there. Year of the Chicken explores culture shock from three perspectives: a native observing new arrivals, a new arrival in a foreign land, and an expatriate returning home from overseas.
